Somatic yoga is a combination of trauma sensitive yoga and somatic movement exercises (SME) which offers a slow, conscious, gentle practice that invites students to explore a deeper layer of awareness to the tension we hold in our bodies. This Month Dump & Reflection 🥲 Car broke ☹️ Hurt my back 😋 Yummy Potlucks! 😍 Witnessing and a good friend be fully seen and heard at @heardstroy telling event - Sooo proud 🥹 @jen 🥳 Celebrating #ESEA HERITAGE MONTH 💜 Milan with Dan 😩 Long delayed flight, getting in at 3am 😷 Got ill 🥲 More time off work It's always this time of year that I get so overwhelmed (maybe it the speed of things picking back up after the lull of quiet summer). And what follows is an annual autumnal burnout 🥲🍁 Car breaking, hurting my back and being ill means time off work and its the stress of getting last minute cover/no income/how long am I going to out for? Fellow self employed you feel me? 🥲 However, being an annual thing (unintentionally)... I do feel like I'm learning to accept and adjust each year. That this time of year I am always most humbly reminded to slow the f!ck down, and just accept that letting go is part of the process. 💜🍁🙏 My reminder to slow down. Your reminder to slow down 💜🙏

A moment to yourself to breaaathhhheeeeeeee... I have really been enjoying @the_loudquiet breathwork workshop as a moment to pause for myself. A moment to tune in and connect. It's been a space for me to connect back home with myself through the breath, through intentional rest! ✨️JULY ✨️ It had now become a habit to look over my month and reflect ✨️ July ... 💜Grateful for the opportunities and connections I have made over the years to make the Morocco retreat happen ✨️While I was hosting the retreat, I found myself aware of when I needed space, when I needed to ask for help, when I needed rest, when I was getting overwhelmed.  This is new for me it's usually a case of continue on, piling feelings up and then overwhelmed where I do/say something I regret and then overthink it for hours afterwards 💜I feel everything I have been learning with my mentor/therapist/self reflection work is coming into my daily life. This was the smoothest a retreat have ever ran ✨️ Feeling proud of myself for running my first retreat abroad. 💜 Rest is so important and comes in different forms. This month, I needed mental, and social rest after being in a group for a week. ✨️So lovely to support and see friends glowing 💜Enjoyed getting back into baking, drawing pokemons 🤣 with my sibs and nearly finished crochet my top!
