Late March dump It's been so nice returning to this lovely weather, back to what I love doing, sharing yoga practice, event/collabs, connecting with friends, new friends and communities; guiding people to come back home to themselves, to relax, regulate their nervous system and feel present. Since being back, it has made me realise how much I scattered myself and how I intentionally want to try to run Goh Yoga and work more sustainably, where I'm not all steam ahead and then burn out. Where there is space for me to be me. It has been so nice to feel returning home in such a joyful way (rather than holiday blues). Giving myself the same spaces and nourishment I did while away, here in Manchester. 🌸 I have found, nature walks (since it been so nice) so nourishing 🌸Exploring new spaces - adventure 🌸Blocking out periods of time where I am off screen, not attending to work type tasks - need faff time 🌸Reconnecting back to the hobbies and things, lovely souls that bring joy to my life 🥰 🌸 I have noticed that I struggle to be still or to do nothing, reconnecting back to crocheting has been ammmazing! It give me the space off screen, and I can rest while doing something (so then I'm not restless to do work stuff) 🌸Being more conscious about balance instead of extremes. Reflecting on; me - social time, moving on the go - chill time, work -life, where am I spending my energy & time) 🌸 To support Dan with lent, I chose to make sure my meals are made from scratch - which made me plan my food better and I feel much better energy wise without eating processed, oven food or eating out too much (however I still ate out for events, birthdays and bakes and chocolate 🙃 balance 🤷‍♀️) What does attending to yourself, self care look like ? Where do you spend your time and energy on? When/where do you feel happiest? 💜🙏
