This week is Mental Health Awareness week. A reminder to include yourself, to take space and time for your SELF & wellbeing.
Inspired by a beautiful meditation that @lalkitherapy shared with me this week, I thought to record it and share it with you.
Our wellbeing isn't just our physical health, it is holistic approach and #mentalhealthmatters💚. Years of yoga has guided me to my body and opened my awareness of my different bodies (Koshas). I became more emotionally intelligent and more aware about my mental health. Taking care of our wellbeing includes different types of rest, and understanding our Kosha (layers of our being).

Physical Health:
How we move
Exercise, yoga, pilates, stretching, walk
What we eat & drink
Taking care of our body through doing things that are resting (the different types of rest e.g. massage, going for a nature walk)
Regulating our nervous system
Hygiene, check ups (dental, drs etc.)
Mental & Emotional Health:
Meditate / Mindfulness
Bring yourself here into the NOW (Presence)
What we consume (e.g. media, socials)
What we tell ourselves
Regulating our nervous system
Talking to someone when we are going through sh!t
Our responsibility to seek help and support
Self awareness, understand your emotional intelligence
Give yourself SPACE - How much are you taking on?
Energetic Health:
Energy Healing (Sound Bath, Reiki)
Relax
Rest
Meditate
Spiritual Practice
Connect to Nature
Where do you spend your energy & time on (with whom, where)?
